Varushka Moodley obtained her BA LLB degree from the University of Pretoria in 2020 and joined DupWest as a candidate legal practitioner in the firm’s commercial department in 2021.

While  completing her candidacy with us, Varushka was able to gain valuable experience and exposure throughout the different departments in the firm by participating and assisting where necessary.

The candidacy programme offered at DupWest is one that prepares and moulds candidates to have a solid foundation in the profession. This is done by introducing the candidates to various aspects of the law and not be constrained to one sector within the law. Varushka was admitted as Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in July 2023 and are now applying her knowledge in our Commercial department.
